I am a graduating student *soon* - probably this coming October *hopefully* and I’m pretty excited to ventured out and get a job as soon as possible. I am really grateful of all the blessings I’ve received from God today and I cherish every single one of it, some people thinks that I am too grateful based from my status but I don’t care what others think at least what I said is true unlike others who just brag about something which is not true just to show off and some are obviously insecure of what you have that is why they are bringing you down through their reckless words that is pierce like a sword.

I just finished two freelance website projects which are LP2NE1 Website and One Weave, One Dream Website , as for LP2NE1 website project I’m quite happy to get a good feedback based from the work I made from our staff and avid readers to help LP2NE1 to get back on track and for One Weave, One Dream I’m really glad to know that my client get a high grade (A) for her thesis based from the project I made for her.

This summer I still have a class because I took up my COMSKI2 (Technical Writing) just to clean up my minors and focus more on my majors next term especially my thesis but nevertheless I’m still busy due to upcoming projects that I have to finish before June starts beside from the freelance projects I have, my school *De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde (DLS-CSB)* hired me to become their website designer and developer for their newest project under the department of  DLS-CSB Alumni Association and I just want to thank my Boss/Professor – Mr. Erickson Jao. He is currently training me now to become a successful website designer and developer and I am working with him now for another upcoming project this coming next term for school events, potential clients (firms), and etc. My friend Kim Dotado also hires  me to create a website for DLS-CSB Office of Culture and Arts (OCA). I hope I could finish everything before it piles up my work that can affect my school projects but still I’m thankful for this oppurtunity.

A little bit of trivia about Jean she is a blogger ever since mid 2007-2008 in her minihompy at blogspot before but she transferred in wordpress, she is currently on hiatus in blogging that is why some of you aren’t really quite familiar with her but she is also considered in our batch before *the oldies* and we are really happy that we met her although she is quite shy but she’s cute though teheee!! you know what we mean sistah! *muah!*

At 1:00 P.M. Grysh and Aisha meet at greenbelt while I’m waiting for Jean at DLS-CSB SDA since we’re schoolmates and same course too tehee!

At exactly 3:00 P.M. Jean just finished her class and we both went to Greenbelt where we will meet Grysh and Aisha. We ate at NSG (National Sports Grill) in Greenbelt for our late lunch while waiting for our food we chat a lot, well actually we’re quite noisy though there are no people yet in the restaurant and I think we are the only customer at that time ahahahahaha! we talk about random stuff like love, friends, life, school, and etc and to tell you the truth these people aren’t just my cyber friends they are my true/real friends because we are open to each other like there are no things that we need to hide just to pretend to be someone  who we are not and in our first meeting we already show our true colors because we both trust each other very well maybe that is the reason why we always seeks help, advice, and support each other like a true friend.

After we ate at NSG we roam around the greenbelt for awhile to digest our food while waiting for Emil and then while walking we saw Bulgogi Brothers, Grysh decides that when we meet Emil we should meet at Bulgogi Brother for our dinner and its Emil’s treat!! ahahahaha!! joke!

At exactly 6:30 P.M. Emil arrived in Bulgogi Brother but unfortunately Jean needs to go home since its already late…too bad but anyway there is always a next time..seriously we weren’t really aware at the time maybe because we had so much fun! After Jean leaves we ordered our dinner and good thing we didn’t ordered a lot or else our stomach will be more bloated from its usual size ahahahah just joking! after we ate Kim arrives and then we transfer to another restaurant and there we chat again and do some Fortune Telling stuff ahahahahaha!!! and the night goes so fast..and again we didn’t notice that it is almost 12:00 A.M. so we need to go home.

Next Meeting! We will meet up at Binondo and do some FOOD TESTING! there wanna join with us?…If you’re a blogger near Manila area and you want to have fun and do stuff like you don’t usually do or you want to get to know your co-blogger you can join us in our trip or meeting…we ain’t eat people so don’t be afraid with us..we are pretty much of a normal people who lives a normal life and lives at the same planet as you….since I said it…you wanna come?!!!! Hope you do …so it would be so much fun!

Annuale 2012 Live is an event where from 13 programs of SDA  showcase their creative works in one stage. I went to the location of the event just to talk to one of my Professor who offers me an awesome job! (I’m still kinda shock until today and excited as well!)….anyway when I arrived at the location I saw the production team preparing for the event inside the theater and the artists who are rehearsing their program with their Director…well actually at first I have no plans on attending this event due to some projects that I have to finish on time but then my lovely professor convinced me to attend the event so therefore I let myself seat comfortably at the 2nd section at 1st row with my professor whose seating beside and our position is very convenient to my professor since he is the Director of the fashion show in that event and that position is really good to conduct his job.

I’m so sorry if my shots are kinda crappy because I wasn’t able to prepare myself for that event its like a spontaneous or spur of the moment decision. The first program starts with a really funny guy, I don’t know if you’re familiar with the Afro guy in Coca-Cola Commercial? If ever you’re not familiar with him here is the vid of his previous commercial with Coca-Cola.

In this event all of the courses like Fashion Design and Merchandising, Music Production, Animation, Multimedia Arts, Production Design, Technical Theater, Arts Management, and Performing Arts major in Dance showcased all of their best performances and creative works into one program! And I was really amazed with all of my classmates (before and now) on stage who did the their incredible and extravagant performance I was really proud at that time I can’t believe that those people whom I’m with in my journey in DLS-CSB are now performing right in front of my eyes and showcased their talent tall and proud! Animo La Salle!

I’m really glad that people noticed my work though its not yet that polished but the fact that I was recognized in such category in an event where MMA people gathered together to celebrate this event its already an honor to me or should I say this is really an overwhelming experience. As far as I remember I went to SDA around 6:03 P.M. and I saw my friends who are also nominated on that event Eru, Gail, Jen Mandia, Jendz, and Andee together we proceed to the event held in SDA 12th Floor Cafeteria where we saw Dave and we sat next to him while his making his paper for MMABIZ2 while we’re catching up the latest thing about each other’s life since some of them are already graduates and then Jen Noble arrives and sat next to us too while waiting for the event to start.

At exactly 7:05 P.M the event starts and the first awarding on that night was given to those people who are really good in Interactive Design and to tell you the truth I never imagined myself to be called in that category, yeah I do submit my work just to try out if the judges think its worthy to be called the Best Interactive Design  and then I was really shocked that they called my name and mind you guys all of the contestant on this contest are really exceptionally good that is why the tension during that event was really high being on the Top 5 really means a lot because it only means that the professionals acknowledge your work. I won as one of the Top 5 in Interactive Design dang~! it really feels nice to be in stage and getting your award and that is my first ever award in my entire life when it comes to art field and I’m so happy that the other contestant was really nice and friendly towards me and I do congratulate each and everyone of them. The next awarding was given to those people who are good in Website Design and Development  again I do admit I thought I will never be called because the competition in this category are also hyped! The other contestant are really amazing even I was amazed with their work and I am proud in a way that those works were created by an MMA student from De La Salle-College of Saint Benilde dang~! and yeah I won as one of the Top 5 in Website Design and Developmentand its really overwhelming since this is my forte among the other field and being acknowledge as one of the best in this field is like heaven! ahahahahaha!! actually to tell you the truth even though I didn’t won the first place but the fact that I was one of the top 5 dang! what an achievement… that feels awesome dude! ahahahahaha! and bonus I made friends with the other contestant tehee!

I would like also to congratulate all of the winners in that event you know guys you’re awesome and so be more awesome in future! And to those who didn’t won you know guys you’re still number in my heart without the paper/trophy/award for me you’re still the best so also continue being awesome too! Remember that this event was created to exhibit/advertise your work and so people can see your works and recognized your talent! Oh yeah you’ll never know one day someone might send you a love letter (Client project proposal) so stay positive!!! And again congratulations to The first batch of MMA Awards 2012!

Being nominated in such event by my lovely professors is already an honor to me to be recognized by others because of my talent and passion when it comes to art I don’t know how to express my gratitude to them for their non-stop support and faith in me and in my skills. I want to thank all of my supporters/friends/family/professors who is always there to comfort me and give me constructive criticism in my work. My passion for art has been revived while studying in DLS-CSB SDA as a Multimedia Artist student thanks to my mentors and to my friends who truly inspires me a lot to create a lot of awesome stuff and to my blogger and forum friends who has been a witness to all of my hardship in Internet (World Wide Web) ever since 2007 and until now, thank you so much guys I really owe you a lot with this one! although I hibernate for almost a year in blogging still you recognized me as your co-blogger and website designer & developer who started in the alias named “Feenquegurl” I will never forget all the things you’ve done for me as I pursue this career, and again Thank you very much everyone!

I actually went to that event for seminar points which is required to each and everyone of the student in De La Salle – College of Saint Benilde under the course of Multimedia Arts before they graduate from college…its like a final requirements before they let you go ahahaha! but I’m not sure if its applicable to other courses but anyway I went there and I thought that I’ll be going there me, myself, and I since I knew that Chloe, Leni, Aakov, and Jen aren’t gonna come to the event since they’ve already completed their seminar points unlike me, when I arrived to DLSU-M I saw few of my classmates and friends and I’m kinda glad that at least I am not alone for 8 hours ahahahaha! and yeah we went inside the seminar hall and we chat a little and catch up what’s new in our daily lives since some of them are already graduate (well my set of friends are actually batch 108 and I’m 109…I’m kinda ahead to my batch that is why I’m closer to 108 than to 109).

The event starts and I’m a little bit excited on whats gonna happen to the seminar since most of the speakers are graphic designers which is related to my course also, the first one to present her piece is Miss Kat Pallon – wow! her art/style is really elegant since her art is more inclined to art nouveau style which is my favorite style of all time because of the freshness it gives off in an art, the decorative details, flowers, and etc, I actually like techniques, conceptualization, and approach to her art. Next in line is Mister Vince Aseo – dang! his portfolio are all awesome! I love how detail he is in his work and the techniques he used in able to come up with an awesome vector work, well I also love his style and approach in his work and he quite reminds of my fellow schoolmate Robbie Bautista in his work he is also a vector artist but his style is different from Mr. Aseo. The next speaker after Mr. Aseo is my favorite artist Miss Valerie Chua – She is also one of the reason why I attended this event I used to stalk her before ahahahahahhaha!! what can I do? I Love Her! ~not in a gay perspective okay? but as a fellow artist too her artworks inspires me to draw again because before my auntie banned me to draw for some circumstances which is I don’t want to enumerate how and why she banned me from doing such thing and for me its quite normal to draw such thing ahahahha! its not what you think okay? ahahahhaha! anyway back to the topic… Ms. Valerie Chua is an illustrator which became popular because of her awesome watercolor art from her blog its kinda her hobby before, I used to bookmark her posts just to inspire myself to draw and from time to time I fell in love with her pieces and its so nice to meet her in person in such event and I can’t help giggling, taking pictures, asking her questions and stuff ahahahaha! I’m such a fan!

Mister Dan Matutina is an illustrator and a graphic designer. He also became famous with his outstanding portfolio which is very unique and very edgy his works primarily inspired from spaceship, solar system, astronaut, and etc. This artist is one of my favorite artist too and same to Miss Val I used to stalk this guy through net not in real life I’m not that hardcore ahahahaha! and I used to bookmark his works as my inspiration whenever I’m drained, out of concepts, and worst is creative block and I’m thankful that God created this people to help me be inspired everyday and not to lose hope in producing awesome stuff ahahahaha! Last but not the least is a Music Photographer Miss Nina Sandejas to tell you the truth I’m not a fan of photography and stuff though I love taking pictures it is just I feel that every time I take pictures I don’t really give justice in to that object unlike these awesome people who really love this craft that is why I refuse to take photography field in any way and concentrate on what I really love the most which Illustration and Website Design & Development but still during the seminar I really admire Miss Nina works because her job is not that really easy its quite hard because you need to take a better pictures of an artist while they are performing and as a photographer you have to take a shot that will help improve the image of the performer, as you can see being called a photographer it doesn’t mean you have a DSLR you are already a photographer, a photographer aren’t being called a photographer in an instant they study their craft for years and they need to conceptualize fast in order to give that spontaneous scene, object, people, and etc a picture that speaks to itself without defining what it really means.

What I’ve learn in this seminar is that;

Being an artist you must to love what you really love the most which is art and not because you’ll gonna earn big from it. Not because you were born with a natural gift in arts it doesn’t mean your greater among the others not until you develop you’re craft and enhance it in a way to create an art that will not perish in a long period of time like Picasso, Leonardo Da Vinci, Juan Luna, and etc.

By the way here are the pictures I took while attending the seminar and I’m so sorry if its kinda crappy because my seating position during that time is kinda far from the stage.

Like what I said before I would like to use this blog like my sketchpad or something where I can put my recent artworks or how I did it so in future I can track down my improvement and I want to do this to discipline also myself to create more awesome stuff for my portfolio which I need for my future job tehee! <3 .

I just want to share with you how I did my new project named “Still I Rise” which is inspired from Maya Angelou’s poem. I’m so sorry if its not that good enough I just made it in 5 hours (it’s still so long) and I want to challenge myself to create digital painting within 1-2 hours only wohoo! I hope I could do that but for today I should practice more!
